Denver, CO—Energy Star New Homes, a division of the Colorado Governor’s Energy Office of Denver, Colorado, has partnered with local web design firm, the Unleaded Group (www.unleadedgroup.com) to create and launch www.coloradoenergystarhomes.com, the up-to-date informational resource for homebuilders and buyers on sustainable living in Colorado. The site employs a content management system (CMS) that will allow The Governor’s Energy Office to update the site with news quickly and easily for consumer convenience. Energy Star New Homes works closely with government and community organizations including homebuilders associations and Energy Raters to oversee the construction and testing of modern energy-efficient homes. It is a way to promote energy awareness and conservation and to offer green living options for Colorado residents wile supporting Colorado Energy Star homebuilders and ensuring new single-family homes are built to Energy Star standards.
