The Rundown
Scribbles is a Denver-based stationery and invitations store that carries products from more than 150 vendors so its customers can find exactly what they are looking for for any occasion. Scribbles understands event planning can be stressful, so they wanted a site that was as intuitive and user-friendly as possible to assure their customers they can be counted on.
The Solution
Unleaded Software began by creating a custom-themed Magento ecommerce website that matched the style and feel of the elegant products sold by Scribbles. To avoid losing any of the SEO value that was built up by popular products that Scribbles no longer carries, Unleaded employed its Disabled Product Redirect module. This module preserves the SEO value of the URLs of former products and redirects those pages to other specific products or to the home page as necessary. Additionally, they added our 404 Awareness module to quickly identify any broken links that may exist on the site so the appropriate action can be taken. Both add-ons are products of the Octane Toolkit of modules built in-house by Unleaded Software.
