The new website not only showcases what Glo has to offer, but also allows customers to access beauty and skincare advice and guidance to help customers select the correct solution and correlating products for their individual skin.

Unleaded Software understands when purchasing makeup online, it is essential to precisely convey the color options, which is why we implemented advanced custom color swatching into the site. This allows customers to accurately select the shade they are looking for, which isn’t the case with every online makeup retailer.

Another custom integration implemented in order to streamline the ordering process is synchronization with SAND Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP), which is a customizable OpenSource ERP with Customer Relationship Management (CRM). This allows two-way communication between products, customers, taxation, customer groups, shipping and orders for the most efficient sale possible.
Unleaded Software also applied many custom enhancements to Magento that are not out-of-the box and should only be endeavored by a web development firm with extensive Magento experience.
- Mini Shopping Cart was added, which will display on the product or category pages of the site after a product has been added to their cart. This allows the customer to continue shopping instead of being led away from the showroom to a checkout page.
- A Custom Promotions module was added to accommodate and give greater visibility to complex promotions that are not integrated into Magento in a way that can be easily managed.
- Because Glo has a varied clientele of both consumers and other businesses reselling their products in salons and medi-spas, Unleaded set up individualized B-2-B and B-2-C consumer groups for each. For example, this allows a medi-spa to login and order a clinical-strength product at a wholesale price not be available to the retail customer.
- Lastly, one-step checkout was added for maximum customer convenience and shortest sales cycle.
