Customarily in business, each member of a team has different responsibilities. Differing job responsibilities mean that not everyone needs access to the same areas of the back-end administration of your site. You may want your designer to be able to change the appearance of your online store by adding new skins to the site, but not change pricing. You may want your controller to be able to change the prices of products, but not affect the design.
Using Magento, you can create separate accounts for each user so that they can only access the administrative area pertaining to their authorized function.
This advantage of Magento means you determine who is responsible for doing what to the site. It allows you extraordinary control.
Another advantage: when an employee terminates, you simply remove that user account, and you do not have to change access info for the balance of your employee team.
